My global banking client has a requirement for a Solutions architect to work on an initial 12 month freelance contract in their Brussels office.
The client is about to start on a huge Transformation programme until 2021. This will involve a complete overhaul of their IT infrastructure.
As Systems Analyst/Solutions Architect, the role will include:
Being assigned a functional domain
Input from a high level view on what should happen and what is required
Create a process on how the high level view can be achieved and what steps/technologies should be used
Create a low level design that can be followed by offshore developers
Perform code reviews
Essential Experience
Strong experience on integration projects
Experience in defining integration patterns, integrity, transactionality etc.
Experience as a Technical Architect
Able to perform code review
The role is 95% writing documentation and 5% code review
Any experience with SOAP, ReST and XML is beneficial but not essential
Start - Within 4 weeks as this is an urgent role
Hours - 40 per week with the potential to work from home 1 or 2 days a week
Rate - Approx 600-675 Euros per day. Please be aware that tax must be paid in Belgium.
Expenses such as Accommodation/flights etc will be the responsibility of the consultant, not the client. However, any costs of offsite meetings etc will be covered by the client.
The client's preference is a face to face interview in Brussels, however they can also consider a Skype interview
