Technical Architect

Capita's key client is currently recruiting for two Technical Architects to join their Smart Metering Programme in the South of the UK for initial 3 month contracts likely to be extended. There are two positions immediately available.

The client is looking for strong candidates with an excellent background in the technical architecture of applications, with a solid understanding of infrastructure architecture as you will be helping the purchases from another part of the organisation, alongside knowledge of SAP. The candidate must be astute in the influencing and delivery side and also have reviewed technical delivery.

- Working with the Solution Delivery Architecture team, deliver the content and evaluation of the Field Force, MDM, Logistics, and Meter Asset procurement activities.
- Provide knowledge, input and guidance on the Field and WAM systems to enable the Smart Metering architect to make appropriate solution decisions and recommendations.
- Provide guidance and support to the Senior Solutions Architects in Smart Metering when reviewing and approving project documentation
- Provide guidance to the Business and System Analysts on the FFS and WAM solutions to enable the efficient and effective design of the Business process, requirements and system design.
- Working with the third parties appointed to agree the interface architecture and design specifications, review test documentation and inform the implementation activities.
