Technical Architect urgently required by our leading Multichannel Retailer who is currently experiencing exciting growth. The role on offer can only be described as fun, challenging & varied and will provide you with a truly amazing career experience.

Working as part of the Architecture & Design team, your role will include designing the end-to-end solutions for a number of front end and back end projects including (but not limited to):

eCommerce website launches, mCommerce developments and Mobile Apps. You will join a small, dedicated team, made up of the very best talent the North West has to offer.

This is a superb chance for you to showcase your skills and you will have the chance to work at the cutting edge of technology within a role where you will have the autonomy to make key strategic decisions.

Core Requirements:
Java programming skills - J2EE 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6
Experience with J2EE development: EJBs, Servlets, JSPs and, MVC frameworks.
RestFul Web Services, Spring Framework
Oracle / SQL
Excellent communication skills
Excellent delivery focus and commitment
Team players, able to learn/adapt quickly and take responsibility
Understanding of object oriented concepts and UML notation.

Advantageous Requirements:
Working knowledge of IBM DB2
Working knowledge of Eclipse / WSAD, RAD alongside version control systems (e.g. CVS).

Experience of Web technologies such as Javascript, CSS, HTML, XHTML
