Technical Analyst/Technical Advisor - Policy and Guidance - London

TECHNICAL ANALYST, TECHNICAL ADVISOR - POLICY AND GUIDANCE - required for Central Government Organisation based in London

Required to join a major digital transformation programme, which is looking to reform the technologies across the Government Sector and find common technologies that can be deployed.

THE TECHNICAL ADVISORS WILL HELP THE TEAM IN EFFECTING CHANGE THROUGH POLICY AND GUIDANCE, AND PREPARING THE POLICY AND GUIDANCE THAT THEY ISSUE. PREPARING DOCUMENTATION AND BUSINESS CASES. WILL NEED TO FOLLOW THE TREASURE GREENBOOK GUIDELINES SO FAMILIARITY WITH THIS WILL BE HIGHLY ADVANTAGEOUS.

CANDIDATES WILL NEED TO HAVE A TECHNICAL UNDERSTANDING AND EXPOSURE TO DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN ORDER TO ANALYSE AND COMMUNICATE INFORMATION EFFECTIVELY.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH POLICY AND GUIDELINES IS ESSENTIAL. Scrum/Agile background would be useful.

The ideal candidate may come from a consultancy, legal background or a start-up company, and possibly have a degree in Law or equivalent.

Candidates will be required to undergo CTC clearance once on site.
