We are currently seeking the services of a TECHNICAL ANALYST to come on-board nd develop and drive the implementation of Records Management Systems and offer appropriate advice to the business.

Ideally you will come from a Business Analyst type background focused on records management systems and should feel comfortable with project management tasks in being able to take ownership for business objectives.

This is initially a contract position working within the Corporate Services Group and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The core purpose for this position is to analyse and provide advice on the company's RECORDS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT NEEDS and implementing policies, procedures and systems that are compliant with the NSW State Records Act 1998.  

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analysing and providing advice on the business needs for records and information management policies, systems and tools. 
- Developing and implementing records and information management policies and procedures 
- Implementing systems for information and records management including a business classification scheme and record keeping system
- Training of staff in records and information management policies, procedures and systems.

Skills Required:

- Qualifications in records management highly desirable
- Experience in implementing government records management systems highly desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of, or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, the NSW State Records Act 1998 and other legislative requirements for records and information management
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, work collaboratively, consult with stakeholders and implement policies and systems in compliance with legislation and standards
- Demonstrated knowledge of implementation and/or administration of Records Management Systems
