We are urgently seeking a Technical Analyst to work in Brussels.
For this role you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java, Oracle/Oracle Suite & Sybase, and ideally have an knowledge of Banking, Planning and organisation & ICT.
Additional skills:
Masters or bachelor degree in information technology.
Minimum 3 years of experience in application analysis and development, using the following technologies:
Web*Forms, PL/SQL including stored procedures and design of an entity relational diagram)/JAVA (JSP or other framework)
Experience in the following technologies is an asset: Sun Solaris/Unix/Linux and experience in financial application management.
A good knowledge of English and good command of French and/or Dutch is considered as an asset.
Your role:
Requirements analysis: specify system requirements taking into account future business partner, customer and information technology trends.
Solution design: advise on the selection of technical solutions integrating hardware, services, application software and system management/create a plan for the technical realisations and manage the dependencies between the different realisations/Advise on costs, timescales and technical risks in the planning of technical deliverables.
Defining technical frameworks: Advise other IT professionals on the development and implementation of IT solutions in their area of technical expertise.
Solution delivery & support: deliver high-quality solutions to business partners based on complex requirements/provide third-line support and perform problem analysis and solving/solve complex problems for systems and applications, and develop and compare alternative solutions, also when speed is of the essence.
Relationship management: liaise with team members, business partners and suppliers to accomplish the team's objectives/knowledge transfer/coach other technical analysts/perform peer reviews/able to convey technical trade-offs ( long-term solutions vs short-term needs ).
Editing and reusing assets: deliver & update documentation (solutions, implementation process and analysis)/be the expert for already developed objects and materials.
Solution testing: participate to the strategy definition and to the verification and validation of the technical work/follow-up and resolution of defects in order to mitigate impact ( Integration testing ).
