Technical Analyst Job

SENIOR TECHNICAL ANALYST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Philadelphia, PA.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Strong Project Management skills.
- Develops, modifies or administers application programs from detailed specifications.
- Codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains programs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Designs and develops IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems.
- Takes responsibility for technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings.
- Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Broad industry experience, proposes technical and process improvements to the Desktop Engineering methodology in an effort to which improve the reliability and performance of the customer's technology experience.
- Has working knowledge and understanding of Desktop Operating System inner workings (File System, Registry, Services, Drivers, etc.).
- Technically proficient in desktop engineering, including common desktop core application types such as Firewall and anti-virus, VPN technologies, encryption technologies, common browser settings, PC back up tools, and software deployment technologies.
- Provides 3rd level technical support for core desktop operating system and all major software applications and components, in addition to proprietary ARAMARK software by diagnosing, troubleshooting and determining root cause of issues.
- Has strong project management skills and possesses ability to execute on time and on budget. Drives results, assesses risks and plans contingencies, and holds himself/herself accountable for delivery.
- Researches emerging Desktop Engineering technologies and provides a Roadmap for continuous improvement of the Desktop Engineering methodology.
- Works with other technicians to incorporate security and business process testing towers of work into the desktop engineering methodology.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- BA/BS degree or equivalent technical training.
- Typically requires four to seven (4-7) years of related IT experience within a technical discipline.
- May be responsible for training or orienting others, and assigning and reviewing work.
