Technical Analyst Job

SENIOR TECHNICAL ANALYSTS needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Philadelphia, PA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Uses in-depth knowledge and understanding of Desktop and/or Server Operating System inner workings (File System, Registry, WMI, Services, Drivers, etc.) to improve the reliability and performance of the customer's technology experience.
- Creates scripts as necessary using any of the following Scripting languages; VBScript, VB.NET or PowerShell
- PC back up tools.
- Provides 3rd level technical support for core desktop operating system and all major software applications and components, in addition to proprietary software by diagnosing, troubleshooting and determining root cause of issues.
- Manages multiple tasks and small projects as well as service requests and incident resolution.
- Creates and maintains documentation of all procedures current and proposed.
- Install, configure and administer System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- Creates task sequences, configuration baselines and software update groups.
- Develops, modifies or administers application programs from detailed specifications.
- Codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains programs.
- Designs and develops IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Is technically proficient in desktop engineering/architecture, including common desktop core application types such as desktop Firewall and anti-virus, VPN technologies, encryption technologies, common browser settings,
- Technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings.
- Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- BA/BS degree or equivalent technical training.
- Typically requires four (4-7) years of related IT experience within a technical discipline.
- May be responsible for training or orienting others, and assigning and reviewing work.
- Experience in the upgrade from SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 or from SCCM 2012 to SCCM 2012 R2 is a plus.
