TECHNICAL ANALYST (JAVA, SQL, SCRUM)

TECHNICAL ANALYST (JAVA, SQL, SCRUM) required for a challenging role working for a big financial organization in Switzerland. You will be working on a critical project and be the interface between business analysts and development teams. You must have experience working for large companies in a multicultural environment including offshore development teams. Coming from a development background you will be expected to develop in Java and Sql for a percentage of the time in addition to working closely with the overseas scrum teams, therefore experience working in scrum or agile team is mandatory.

As Technical Analyst you will take the business requirements and produce technical specifications for the development teams. You will need an understanding of architecture and of reference data management applications with very large volumes of date.

TASKS:

- Produce infrastructure and program specifications to support the key projects
- Act as interface between business analysts and developers
- Transform requirements into technical data
- Work with upstream and downstream connected applications to resolve connectivity issues
- Analyze, verify and oversee the movement of application infrastructure into a highly secure environment

SKILLS:

- Strong development skills with Java and SQL,
- Financial background is a MUST
- Data management applications and large data volumes
- Agile or Scrum working experience
- Organized and structured personality
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment
- Familiarity with RUP or EUP would be beneficial
