GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

The TechnicalAnalyst reports to the Team Lead, Technical Analyst. The TechnicalAnalyst is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, installing and upgrading computer hardware, peripherals, and other telecommunication or instrumentation devices or hardware, as well as providing technical assistance and training to system users.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Senior Level. Responsible for most complex troubleshooting, repair and upgrade of computer equipment and other hardware.

Provides On-site IT Services. Duties may include:

- Assembles and configures computers and peripherals
- Installs operating system and approved and licensed software packages
- Performs routine equipment maintenance and upgrading tasks
- Determine vendors for outside repairs and coordinate warranty repairs
- Advanced troubleshoot problems on computers, peripherals or telecommunication devices
- Network and Server troubleshooting knowledge.
- Provide desk-side training in operating hardware and software
- Assist in the mentoring and trainaing of other team members
- Diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems; and recommends or performs remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operation.
- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of relevant product offerings and support policies in order to provide technically accurate solutions to our clients
- Understands and demonstrates the willingness to promote Acrodex's vision and values

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & ABILITIES)

- IT related Certificate or Diploma from a recognized post secondary institution preferred
- 5+ years troubleshooting related experience
- Strong communication, organizational, customer service and problem solving skills
- Experience with networking, Servers, Firewalls and infrastructure
- Must possess A+ certification and minimum 3+ hardware/software related certifications
- MCSE, MCP, PDI+ or Server + designation an asset
