Technical Analyst/Desktop Support Job

TECHNICAL ANALYST/DESKTOP SUPPORT needed for a ONE (1) YEAR CONTRACT, opportunity with Yoh's client located in Phoenix, AZ.

THE BIG PICTURE:

- daily break fix activities
- data network infrastructure
- networking

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Technical Analyst will work with the PC and Peripheral support group to support daily break fix activities.
- Technical Analyst Resolves a variety of problems by analysing error codes and using knowledge of operating system internals, network operating systems, LAN/WAN infrastructure components, Scripting techniques and solid problem isolation/resolution methodologies.
- Performs a variety of phases of delivery and maintenance of data infrastructure system software and/or infrastructure systems. Assists in the balancing of business requirements and preferred technical architecture to provide effective information systems.
- Delivers quality results on time and within budget. Simplifies or eliminates low value added work processes to assist in the conservation of corporate resources. Effectively prioritizes own work and manages time spent based on priorities.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Computer Science, Business or related degree
- Good knowledge of data network infrastructure, networking, applications, etc.
- Communicates issues openly, honestly and timely with peers, management and clients.
