Technical Analyst

Synergy Consulting Group is looking for a Technical Analyst for a six month+ contract position with a Fortune 500 company.

As a Technical Operations Analyst, you will perform the set ups and modifications of file transfers for external customers. You will coordinate with various internal teams including Network, Security and MIS to ensure accurate results. You will troubleshoot transmissions issues as required and escalate where necessary.

The pay rate for this position is around $20 per hour.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A typical week follows basic working hours with some variance determined by client project requirements. Every day you will draw upon the full range of your technology skills as you work on the managed file transfer platforms. Your customers will depend upon your proficiency in transmissions/communications protocols and upon your strengths at prioritizing and organizing multiple projects and work sets. Technology is only part of your role; clients will also count on your initiative and resolve to discover solutions to problems and on your ability to communicate status and next steps.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic understanding and knowledge of communication protocols (ie HTTPs, FTP, SSL, etc)

Robust customer service skills

The ability to work well with internal and external customers.

Well developed communication skills including the ability to interact with people at all levels of management and staff

Sound judgment and a common sense approach to problem solving and priority setting.

Knowledge of communication protocols (HTTPs, FTP, SSL, AS2, etc)

Demonstrated technical understanding with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to a nontechnical audience

Time management skills and an ability to prioritize based upon rapidly changing customer requirements
