GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Technical Analyst reports to the Team Lead, Desktop. The Technical Analyst is responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, installing and upgrading computer hardware, peripherals, and other telecommunication or instrumentation devices or hardware, as well as providing technical assistance and training to system users.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Developmental Level. Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and upgrading of computer equipment and other hardware.

Duties may include:

1. Install, Maintain, add and change computer hardware and software systems
2. Troubleshoot PC hardware and printer problems and perform PC hardware and printer repairs and upgrades.
3. Ensure you are current with changing technologies.
4. Perform network administration including maintaining accounts, privileges, etc
5. Understands and demonstrates the willingness to promote Acrodex's vision and values

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & ABILITIES)

1. IT related Certificate or Diploma from a recognized post secondary institution
2. 1-2 years troubleshooting related experience
3. Strong communication, organizational, customer service and problem solving skills
4. A+ certification and hardware/software related certifications beneficai
5. MCSE or MCP designation an asset
