TECHNICAL ANALYST JOBS/TECHNICAL ANALYST NEEDED IN BRUSSELS

DAILY RATE: Negotiable

START DATE: ASAP

END DATE: 6 months + Extensions

LOCATION: Brussels (Belgium)

The Share Service Center IT for Procurement was created in the beginning of 2011.
Entity within the Function IT HRM & Cost Accounting organization, the SSC manages application to:
- Analyze group spend spending
- Follow-up buyers actions
- Manage expense notes
- Manage travel bookings

The SSC is responsible of the maintenance of the solutions but has also several projects in the pipeline to replace the actual applications.

FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:

You will be in contact with the business representatives if applicable the development teams (development can be done in house or by external companies) the production teams for version deployments and ensure the service quality.

You will be in charge of:

- Creating the Macro Impact Study and the specifications to estimate and describe the tasks/developments that are needed to realize the business requests.
- The development if done in house.
- Create the test cases and execute the tests.
- The deliveries
- Business representatives support

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT:

- English and French: Fluent
- Dutch: Basic

Most of our contacts are based in France (internal clients, BPM, production teams) being perfectly fluent in French is therefore mandatory. English is mandatory too and Dutch is highly appreciated

EDUCATION & SOFT SKILLS

- Bachelor/Master in IT or equivalent by experience
- Quick self-starter, pro-active attitude
- Good Communication and Influencing skills
- Good analytical and synthesis skills
- Autonomy, commitment and perseverance
- Ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural env Experience 1-3 year(s) as Technical Analyst

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE: MANDATORY:

- DataStage (7 &) 8.
- Web Technologies (PHP, Java/Struts).
- Database (Oracle).
- Shell UNIX.

PREFERABLE:

- Knowledge in Procurement is also considered as an asset.
- Excel VBA is considered as an asset.
