Technical Agile Business Analyst

Technical Agile Business Analyst-Contract-London-£450-£550/day

My Client, a Top Tier Bank is on the search for an experienced Cross Asset Technical Business Analyst with Strong Agile Experience. They have embarked on a cross-asset Programme to add service layers; these would allow the data to be accessed in a simpler way. The project is a key component of the new strategic risk platform and will be high profile. The project for the business analyst will focus on delivering the infrastructure required to allow the business to implement CSA.

Some of the main Duties for this role are:

* Utilise a BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) approach to define specifications & functional test criteria
* Facilitate requirements elaboration & user story backlog creation and management
* Communicate requirements to development teams to ensure joint understanding
* Quickly understand the business process and workflows

Experience needed to be considered:

* Experienced BA with track record of complex projects throught the project lifecycle from inception through to delivery and support
* Understanding of AGILE and LEAN principles and hands on experience of methodologies is a must and applying them to development teams
* Experience of 2 or more of the following assets classes. FX/FX options, interest rates, Commodities, Credit Derivatives and Equities
* Understanding of Market data in these Asset classes for pricing and risk calculations
* Hands on experience of expressing spec/functional tests in BDD format
* XML Experience as well as SQL
* Experience in writing functional specs is needed
