Tech Lead/Solutions Architect

TECH LEAD - SOLUTIONS MANAGER - BROADCAST MANAGEMENT SYSTEM - ONAIR - INTEGRATION

Our well known Broadcaster requires Technical Lead who will work on the procuring a new Broadcast Management Systems solution to replace OnAir.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- The Solution Architect is responsible for ensuring that a complete and coherent solution architecture is designed, deployed and maintained across the TV and North project portfolio and product lines
- You will deliver the BMS Roadmap and function as the project's Technical Lead overseeing all the technical work streams as well as taking direct responsibility for managing the Integration work stream
- Responsible and accountable for the delivery of all the technical aspects of the proposed solution such that a robust solution architecture is delivered with the BMS system integrated
- Directly responsible for leading the integration workstream to ensure interfaces are designed, built, tested and delivered in line with best practise and project budget/timeline
- To manage the full integration life cycle from interface design through development and testing to deployment and transition to BAU support in line with best practise

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Experience Leading the integration of a major Broadcast Management System such as OnAir
- Thorough understanding of Broadcast Scheduling Systems and ideally have procured new BMS system in the past
- A thorough grasp of the principles and best practise of technical and solution architecture
- Experience in navigating and influencing the complex and diverse array of people and relationships that exist within the business including relationships with suppliers and service providers
- Experience in successfully leading and coordinating technical projects and/or significant pieces of work both stand alone and within overarching programmes
