Tech Application Support

We are currently looking for a technical Support Engineer who wants to work in THE Hague, THE Netherlands! This is for a contract position for about 6 months with the possibility to extend!

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

It will be a application support technical position. This application is a IT system for exploration and production for this end client. The application encompasses a suit of ITtools used to execute reserves accounting workflows in support of the annual business planning and other processes for example.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Rresponsibilities will include application support activities; managing or performing internal projects; and liaising with end users and stakeholders.
- ITIL activities such as Incident, Problem, Change Management etc.
- Providing ongoing technical maintenance and support for the applications Back End infrastructure, application and its interfaces.
- Identifying, diagnosing and rectifying any number of problems affecting the Resource One system which may emanate from software, hardware or the operating system.
- Specifying, implementing, installing and configuring new instances of Resource One, particularly on the Back End infrastructure.
- Co-coordinating and executing the applications nfrastructure projects and initiatives by TLSbalancing operational with project objectives.
- Understanding the security threats posed to data, applications and their integrity, confidentiality & availability.
- Working with stakeholders from different levels and parts of the organisation.
- Working with Business critical and Most Confidential systems.

YOUR PROFILE

- BACH or Master degree IT
- Application support experience
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD).certified
- Scripting experience
- ITIL & Service management experience
- Experience with Windows Server & network technologies is a pre
