Team Manager - Adults Assessment & Care Management

A temporary vacancy has arisen for a Team Manager to join an Adults Assessment and Care Management Service in the West Midlands.

This local authority post includes responsibility for the day to day management of a fieldwork team, including practice, standards, quality and performance. As Team Manager you will:
- undertake specific duties and responsibilities to enable the team to achieve its goals and objectives.
- ensure the effective functioning of the team in all operational matters.
- act as day to day budget holder for an allocated and devolved budget, ensuring services are delivered within resources.

The appointed manager will have:
- a professional social work qualification and be HCPC registered.
- minimum 3 years' post-qualifying experience in social care to include supervision of fieldwork social care staff.
- knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance relating to assessment and care management
- good understanding of processes of service provision and delivery to meet assessed needs.
- the ability to manage budgets and contribute to budget planning and corrective actions.
- sound and well developed understanding and experience of quality delivery in fieldwork practice, including the maintenance of high quality recording.
- a thorough understanding of Adults performance framework and ability to apply and manage it within the team/unit.
