The Care Shelter runs through the winter months for rough sleepers in Edinburgh. We require temporary staff who will work constant night shift for 27 weeks (one week on, one week off) from 19 October 2015 including training from 7 October which will take place during the day. You will work in various locations around Edinburgh in conjunction with volunteers who provide meals and support.

Two team leaders are required to manage and co-ordinate the teams, each consisting of two Project Workers, and to work closely with the volunteers. You will bring proven leadership experience and have excellent communication skills. You will work constant night shift for 27 weeks (one week on, one week off). Ideally you will have an SVQ3 in Health and Social Care/ Promoting independence.

Essential is a full UK driving licence (D1 an advantage), knowledge of the service user group and a good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
