Teaching Assistant

A lovely 2 form entry Primary School based in Muswell Hill (Haringey) is looking for an experienced Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant for one term. The primary school is based in a strong community and is devoted to providing the children with the very best learning. They encourage all children to work hard and encourage children in a variety of ways. The role will involve working with small groups of children in Key Stage 2 who are struggling with Literacy and Numeracy. Ideally the successfully person with have Reading Recovery experience but this is desirable, not essential. Please note the following requirements prior to applying for this position: - You must have good spoken English; - You must have a minimum of 6 months child related experience; - Your CV must cover the last 10 years employment history and any employment breaks must be explained; - You need to supply two recent references of which one must be from a school setting; - This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure.
