TAX RISK & REPORTING MANAGER - LONDON - FINANCIAL SERVICES - £450-£500

My client a prestige financial services organisation are currently looking for a Tax Risk & Reporting Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the business is compliant with the International Accounting Standard for Tax, this will be a challenging opportunity where the Tax Risk & Reporting manager will need to be aware of the associated business and tax risks involved in carrying out their duties. The role holder will also Work with a very high degree of independence and to act with initiative, under the overall supervision of the Head of Group Tax Reporting. The Tax Risk
- Appropriate and accurate tax disclosures are internally and externally made
- Regional Tax/Finance functions are supported to enable sites to account for and report tax accurately both internally and externally and in accordance with the business tax reporting policies and processes.
- To ensure that operational tax risk across the business is effectively managed in accordance with the businesses tax risk strategy and within the businesses appetite for tax risk.
- To ensure that tax risk and reporting MI is provided to relevant stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
- To identify and implement opportunities for improvements in tax risk and reporting processes both centrally and throughout the business.
- To plan and execute changes to the businesses tax risk and reporting processes to meet the commercial objectives and strategies of senior management.
- To support the representation of the business on new areas of IFRS accounting standards

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Qualified tax professional (preferably Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Institute of Taxation or equivalent).
- Specialist knowledge and experience in IFRS tax reporting and tax risk management.
- Specialist experience in financial services preferred.
- Experience in managing process change.
- Strong communication, problem solving, analytical and project management skills.
- Commercial awareness and sound judgment.
