Tableau Developer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Develop and deploy new charts and Dashboards based on business users requirements using Tableau desktop
- Requirements gathering and converting the Requirements into Technical Specifications
- Migration of reports from Excel or other technologies into Tableau
- Maintain existing reports with enhancements, improvements
-Identify new business needs in terms of reporting and define steps to provide most efficient and easy-to-use solution
- Support and educate the users to help them with usage and navigation using the reporting tools and using the right reports/metrics
- Develop report/data documentation, with best practices on how to use the tools
- Performance Tuning of Charts and dashboards developed using Tableau
- Setup data sources and Data model against the requirement
- Develop workaround and solutions where certain charts or functionalities cannot be directly developed in Tableau

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Expertise in any one of the other Data Visualization tools (Qlik Sense, Qlikview, Power BI, Spotfire)
- Building up a strong technology community in one of Data Viz tools
- Strong Data Analytical Skills, Data Management knowledge with Semantic Data Modelling expertise
- Ability to work with business to deliver dashboards, as well as to train and evangelize the use of visualization within the client business areas
- Ability to recommend visualization features/designs most appropriate to data and analysis needs of business users
- Experience in data visualization, business intelligence and data engineering projects is beneficial
