T-SQL Developer for Multinational Client in Stockholm/Sweden

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A T-SQL DEVELOPER TO WORK AT OUR MULTINATIONAL CLIENT IN STOCKHOLM/SWEDEN.

EXPECTED TASKS AND DELIVERABLES BY THE CONSULTANT

- Support data collections;
- Perform data validations and support the process of data quality management;
- Define and produce the required outputs based on the collected data;
- Define and execute transformations of historical data;
- Provide high quality user support for the +/- 1000 external users;
- Support development of Metadata defining new/updated data collections.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

- University degree with minimum 2 years experience in IT;
- Experience with relational database (MS SQL);
- Practical and theoretical experience of data management, preferably in the field of public health;
- Experience in data quality assurance, including manual/automated validation of data;
- Experience in handling large, complex data sets, preferably public health related;
- Excellent knowledge of TSQL;
- Experience of data handling using SQL;
- Knowledge on Microsoft Team Foundation Server;
- Experience with agile software development or RUP;
- Experience and knowledge of STATA would be an advantage;
- Experience in MS environment (.NET and/or SharePoint) would be an advantage;
- Good command of English, both spoken and written;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Experience with external user support through helpdesk is beneficial.
