This position is for a mid level person. The key is being very proficient in T-SQL. The person should know how to troubleshoot, do performance tuning, write TSQL statements, do maintenance etc. They will work closely with the developers to verify that what they are releasing is correct and within the parameters and that the statements are not degregading any of the information. They do not need someone senior but need to be very proficient in TSQL. Writing procedures, critiquing it and doing execution plans.
