Annual salary will be in the range £45,487 - £52,708 plus £2,323 London Allowance

This full-time, fixed-term post is available for 24 months from the start date

We are seeking to appoint a Systems Support Group Manager to provide strategic leadership for the provision, development, integration and support of a highly complex portfolio of IT infrastructure components.

You will lead the strategic planning for the design, upgrade, implementation, delivery and maintenance of a reliable and resilient IT infrastructure. Using knowledge and experience of the sector, you will implement technology solutions and develop strategies that address complex technical and business challenges.

You will be an experienced senior manager with a history of strategic planning and development. You will also have expertise in the management of cloud technologies, wireless data networks, web presence hosting and a wide range of Microsoft technologies.

You will be experienced in procurement and management of third party suppliers, have a good understanding of security issues and be a strong communicator, capable of managing stakeholders' expectations in a timely and clear fashion. Knowledge of a Higher Education environment would be a real advantage.

In addition, you should have strong organisational and time-management skills and a service-orientated approach. Experience of planning and working to deadlines, using your initiative, working flexibly and motivating staff in a team environment are also essential qualities.
