Systems/ Software Verification Engineer - Permanent - Bucks

Due to growth, I have a new position for a Systems Verification Engineer. Your role will be to support the critical qualification phase of my client's product development cycle prior to products going out to customers.

The right candidate will be a team player and have a level of diplomacy as you will be interfacing with developers both on site and remotely. Broad set of software skills, namely embedded C is critical but if you also have a basic understanding of hardware development and configuration would be beneficial.

* degree educated in electronics, computer science or equivalent
* experience with gathering requirements, writing specs and test plans
* programming in Assembler and C
* familiar with software test lifecycle
* strong communication skills, including written level of English
* previous experience of proof reading technical documentation

Given the nature of this role, your embedded C and English language skills will be assessed during interview.

Salary will depend upon level of experience £35,000 to £40,000 p.a.
