*Functional hazard analysis
*Design Review

Safety Management Services (SMS) Engineer for 11 month contract with tier 1 defence contractor; large scale engineering projects Barrow In-Furness. £45ph/Ltd
SPECIFIC DUTIES
*Provide support and advice to the other safety SITs on Safety Process Development activities in line with the SJP and team deliverable plans
*Assist/Led in the development, continuous improvement and roll out of safety processes in line with QMS/Teamceter/CWE requirements
*Assist the SMS Compliance Management Engineer in discharging internal/external SMS audit duties
*Development of the Whole Boat Safety Case hazard log and associated Hazard Data Management System.

GFE Safety interface Engineer for 11 month contract with tier 1 defence contractor; large scale engineering projects Barrow In-Furness. £45ph/Ltd
SPECIFIC DUTIES
*Contribute to the review of System Safety Checklists
*Allocation of systems safety targets
*Review of Strategive Weapons Support Systems, System Requirements Criticality Analysis and the Systems Safety Hzards Analysis
*Contribute execution of KSF HazOps for 'DSM' and 'Manage OME'

Fire Analysis/Safety Engineer required for 11 month contract with tier 1 defence contractor; large scale engineering projects Barrow In-Furness. £45ph/Ltd
A tier 1 defence organisation is recruiting heavily into their Safety Design Engineering Team, looking for a Fire Analysis Engineer.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
*Assist in the development of material selection processes with respect to fire safety and identification of fire testing requirements
*Provide support and advice to the wider engineering on the selection and optimisation of materials with respect to fire safety
*Produce Fire Risk Assessment and Fire Safety Case documentation
*Support to fire safety systems designers in terms of there selection and performance
*Undertake analysis to support the development of fire safety systems (prevention, detection and fire fighting)
*Organise and attend fire safety optioneering workshops
*Review of Technical Specifications and Suppliers responses
*Support and attend Decision Panels (relevant to fire safety)
*Support, attend and present fire safety work at team meetings
*Support, attend and present fire safety work at Fire Safety Working Groups and Safety Committees

This is a fantastic opportunity to join some large scale, safety critical projects on an initial 11 Month contract - Based in Barrow-In-Furness.
