Systems Interface Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Interface Engineer to assist in the development and maintenance of interface documentation. Candidates will need to demonstrate proven experience in a Integration and Interfaces environment.

Role Purpose
Enable the successful interface & integration of ATC systems, with existing and retained systems/infrastructure. This includes the incremental systems interfaces & integration required to support sectional completion phases while maintaining railway availability, performance and safety at all stages of the life cycle

Demonstrate
The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate:
* Experience of working safely in a metro railway or a closely related industry.
* Good understanding of the overall design philosophy and life cycle from concept through to commissioning.
* Experience of managing workshops and producing quality documentation.
* Good understanding of system architecture definition and system architecture diagrams.
* Experience of requirements management with good working knowledge of requirements management tool (ie DOORS).
* Experience of Verification and Validation principles and management activities.
* Experience of Issues and Assumptions definition and capture.
* Experience of Interface Control Documents definition.
* Experience of Interface Schedules development.
* Experience of Configuration Management and Change Control.
