We are seeking a qualified Systems Environment Manager (SEM) for our Federal Government Client. The person selected to perform the duties of the SEM will have to have advanced and mature ICT skill-sets and be able to understand the scope of work to provide immediate value attribution.

The individual required for this role will likely have a background in Logistic Information Systems (LOGIS), ideally in a management environment and exposure to processing system changes/upgrades. The individual will be required to liaise frequently with our Client and industry personnel and have strong interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated performance in meeting deadlines and attention to detail.

Essential Skills.
The contractor should have proven strong skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas:

- Systems management, in particular experience in the processing of systems changes and testing,
- Excellent written and oral communications skills enabling effective engagement at all levels
- Facilitating workshops with users/stakeholder groups at all levels.

Desirable Skills.
Knowledge and experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

- Systems architecture and security governance,
- Logistics IT systems (specifically MILIS and DTP or SLIMS).

The contract is due to start mid-October and runs until the end of June 2013 and a Baseline Security Clearance is required.
