Systems Engineer/V&V - Aerospace (Verification & Validation)

V&V LEAD (VERIFICATION & VALIDATION)

We currently have a requirement for a V&V LEAD (VERIFICATION & VALIDATION) for an exciting new opportunity with one of our leading clients. The role is for a 6 month contract and is based in the area of BRISTOL.

ROLE:

ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES

- Systems engineering experience involving integration of complex systems.
- Ability to act autonomously or lead a small team of engineers.
- Delivery of requirements management and V&V consultancy to support the client's needs.
- Use of DOORS or other industry standard requirements management tools.
- Ability to bid, set up and successfully deliver small to medium work packages on a client site.
- Effective communication skills, written and spoken.

DESIRABLE

- Detailed knowledge of aerospace systems, in particular fuel systems or landing gear and their integration with the airframe and other systems.
- Working knowledge of wider aircraft architecture and design.
- Experience of working to ABD0200 and other similar Airbus procedures.
