SYSTEMS ENGINEER, RF, SECURITY CLEARED, MATLAB

I am currently seeking a systems engineer to work for a client of mine. You will be required to have extensive experience with RF systems with the ability to conduct verification and validation using Matlab modelling techniques.

You will also be required to either have current SC clearance or the ability to obtain this.

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 12 months

Location: Wiltshire

Rate: £35 - £40 p/h

You will be doing consultancy work for my client based on site in Wiltshire. You will have to be eligible to obtain SC clearance or already have one in place.

Although this is an initial 12 month contract, the client have a lot of work coming up and therefore this may be extended beyond this point.

Essential skills

- Systems engineering life cycle including RF systems design and requirements capture and testing, verification and validation
- Understanding of Matlab Simulink and RF modelling
- 5 years' experience of RF engineering
- Military, avionics & sensors
- Configuration Management
- Batchelor's degree in an engineering discipline
- Prepared to travel frequently within the UK and internationally

Desirable skills:

- 10 years' experience of RF engineering
- 5 years' practical Simulink experience
- FPGA experience including Embedded/HDL coder, HDL verifier, Xilinx system generator
- Software Configuration Management
- Master's degree in engineering discipline
