KEY SKILLS

- Experience operating distributed server systems involving hundreds of machines
- Extensive experience of Linux based systems
- Excellent Scripting experience (Bash, Perl, Python)
- Experience of Git/Maven/Jenkins to build, test and deploy
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (Amazon Web Services, EC2)

DESIRABLE

- Knowledge of several programming languages (Java, C++)
- Experience with cutting edge database technologies (noSQL)
- Computer science degree from top university

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a well-funded gaming startup, is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for a 3-4 month contract (with possible extension options).

The Systems Engineer will have had vast experience tuning and operating hundreds of high performance systems.

The successful candidate will be experienced with virtual environments like Amazon Web Services or EC2.

Excellent academics would be beneficial to your applications (computer science degrees are very welcome).
