Systems Engineer Job

SYSTEMS ENGINEER - VIRTUAL DESKTOP NEEDED for a Contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in St Louis, Missouri.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The position evaluates and integrates software and hardware requests. You'll play a key role in providing resolution to system issues ensuring the availability and continuity of infrastructure resources.
- Writing process, analysis, and solution documentation.
- Communicating technical details to a wide variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical individuals

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five (5+) years of experience with engineering (Assess, Design, Build) client virtualization technologies
- Five (5+) years of experience with current versions of Citrix XenApp, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Provisioning Services, Microsoft App-V, and VPN technologies
- Experience supporting physical and virtual business technology environments in an Enterprise environment
- Experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting components of systems infrastructure such as such as Mobility (messaging, remote access, mobile applications), Platforms (Citrix, Terminal Server) and Client Architecture (Lync, Exchange, Office, Server O/S, Desktop O/S).
- Expert level knowledge of at least one of the following infrastructure applications is desired:
- Citrix XenApp
- Citrix XenDesktop
- Citrix NetScaler
- Citrix Provisioning Services
- Microsoft App-V
- VPN Technologies
- Established teamwork and leadership skills needed to lead, participate in, and coordinate various efforts.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to accurately interpret, document, and deliver customer requirements
- Ability to successfully communicate technical details to a wide variety of audiences, including technical and non-technical individuals.

BONUS POINTS! PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- VBScript or Powershell Scripting experience
- XenApp/XenDesktop experience servicing over 5,000 users
- XenApp/XenDesktop experience servicing users in different geographical regions
- Experience with VMWare as a virtualization platform
- Experience with enterprise class storage, such as EMC and NetApp
