SYSTEM ENGINEER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Possible remote work.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Transfers existing system from Legacy environment to Microsoft Azure Cloud environment.
- Configures additional server to ensure zero downtime.
- Ability to export and import SQL Server databases across multiple environments.
- Install and configure Windows Services, third party controls along with IIS.
- Supports administration of Servers and networks. Recommend and schedule maintenance activities.
- May execute system back-ups and restore protocols. Monitors the backup to ensure it was completed, addresses errors found through notification alerts typically by restarting back up sequence. Unresolved errors that cannot be addressed are escalated.
- Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning and acts to remediate using methodology based on the system and performance issue.
- Perform troubleshooting analysis of networks, Servers, workstations and associated systems.
- Ensure that the strictest standards are in place and enforced for all security measures.
- Creates documentation for system standards and/or configurations for computer and network devices, such as a server installation procedure, which is forwarded to team for review and approval.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in an IT role
- Three to five (3 to 5) years' experience as a System/Server Engineer
- Administration experience of Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003/2008/2013 and BackOffice application suite.
- Experience with various client software applications including Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Broad knowledge of industry standard platforms is desirable, including Windows client and server operating systems, Active Directory, SQL Server, blade centers
