On Friday I met a client in Hampshire who are currently looking for an engineer to join the business. It's a really interesting project working on leading products for the defence industry.

The software engineer is required to join an existing team of engineers to work on technologies for their new products.

Type - Contract (6 months +)

Location - Hampshire

Rates - £40 - 45 per hour

Start Date - Immediate

Key Skills:

- Requirements analysis and functional decomposition
- Design of software systems architectures
- System performance budgeting
- Technical review of software subsystems
- Technical analysis of system design issues

Desirable experience:

- Previous experience working as a systems engineer for a satellite project
