Our South Italy based global client, is looking to recruit an Systems Engineer/Administrator with Excellent technical knowledge of Windows, Vmware, AD and Linux Operating Systems (MS Windows 2003/2008, Vmware Vsphere, Suse Linux Enterprise Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
Duties and responsibilities:
Administration - Maintenance and administration of the Servers, operating systems and directory services. The incumbent is responsible for managing and maintaining standard configurations, monitoring and analysis tools, as well as assisting with the solution of the problems related to data centres as a part of the incident management process.
Deployment - The incumbent is responsible for final testing and deployment of server hardware, operating systems and directory service solutions as well as all related technical documentation as a part of release management process.
Analysis - Incumbent will be responsible for analysing the technical needs of customer, end-users and all stakeholders while helping identify technical problems and propose solutions as a part of problem management process.
Skills required;
Infrastructure designing, deploying and operating various platform infrastructure technologies such as Active Directory and Vmware.
Excellent technical knowledge of Windows, Vmware and Linux Operating Systems (MS Windows 2003/2008, Vmware Vsphere, -Linux - SLES and RHEL).
Excellent technical knowledge of MS Active Directory Services and Virtualization technology.
Good technical knowledge of HP hardware (BL/DL/ML) and SAN EMC/HP technology.
General understanding of Local and Wide Area Network concepts.
Exposure to DRBC solutions like VMware SRM.
