SYSTEMS ENGINEER

About the Job:
We are looking for an experienced systems engineer to be brought on for a year-long contract opportunity. We are wanting someone who is qualified in all aspects of hardware and software support especially in XP and Windows 7 environments.

IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:

- Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organizations systems infrastructure.
- Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software.
- Hardware and software support for XP and Windows 7 environments on Dell and HP desktops and laptops.
- Monitors the performance of systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Successful applicant will have development experience using
- C+, ASP, .NET, and IIS SQL Server 2005 and 2008 and DB2
- Server/Network experience (MS Active Directory, MS Server 2003, 2008) on Dell/HP Servers is a plus
- Experience supporting Lexmark Printers is a plus
- Successful applicant must be a self-motivated, quick learner with a professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+ certifications are a plus

WHAT IT\'S LIKE TO WORK HERE:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

START DATE: 10/16/2012

END DATE: 9/28/2013 ( 1 Year Contract)

LOCATION: Gaffney, SC

HOURS: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

PAY RATE: $25.00/hr (tentative)

It is required that all contractors complete a background check and drug screen report. They must pass a drug screen with a positive clearance and the background check without the following convictions on their record
