Systems Devops Engineer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

-Push an aggressive DevOps agenda, including mastery of configuration, administration and support of DevOps toolchain, such as, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
-Upon deployment of the solution, administrate, support and perform capacity planning for system components
-Participate in full development life cycle from definition to design to delivery
-Meet aggressive deadlines with focus on technical quality and system performance
-Collaboration with global team including participation in daily scrum meetings, peer reviews and design sessions
-Deliver testable and maintainable globally distributed systems

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Strong technical experience in implementing distributed enterprise solutions
-Proven track record of deploying system components for high volume data solutions including utilization of caching and distribution technologies like Kafka and/or Redis including: Configuration management, stress testing, administration and maintenance/support
-Preferred development experience implementing solutions utilizing cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
-Experience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
-Understanding of Windows and Linux/Unix environments
-Experience working with Oracle databases
-Proficient in robust application architecture (polyglot/micro service environments, fault tolerance)
-Experience working in an agile scrum development model
-Team player, self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
-Ability to work in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities
-Proactive and customer focused “make it work” mentality
-Highly responsive, energetic and enthusiastic
