Systems and Network Manager - EMEA

Systems and Network Manager - 12 Month Contract - Central London

Systems/Network Manager required immediately for an international, fast growing technology business in the media and retail sector to be responsible for all of the company's IT systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

* Achieve and maintain the highest-level internal and externalSLA's to our Linux servers, Windows servers and Workstations, MySQL database and Tomcat web servers along with routers, proxies, firewalls, switches and connections to external third-party services
* Maintain optimum availability of the internal development environment and provide third-level support services across the estate
* Lead and project manage the transition to the new European andAmericasdata centres
* Ensure detailed documentation of the delivery of enhanced technical and infrastructure compliance
* Work closely with the Project Management Team and contribute to the architectural evolution of our future requirements
* Manage and provide regular monthly progress reports to the management team
* Establish an Information Systems (IS) policy in conjunction with the Compliance officer
* Recruit and build an IT team

Key Skills -

* Proven experience of delivering a PCI compliant environment to Tier 1 Level
* Proven experience of working within a senior network / infrastructure design and management capacity
* Extensive knowledge of network design / system protocols, high-level security and network management practices and procedures
* CentoOS, VMware, Bash (Unix shell), secure VPN's
* Experience of managing and mentoring a small team of engineers
* Strong communication and presentation skills at Board level
* Experience in Cisco ASA/PIX firewall and Linux client & server platforms.
* Desirable skills/experience:
* Information security qualifications such as CISSP, CISM or CISA as well as ITIL v3 ITSM and ISM and ISO/IEC 27000
* Technical certifications - CCSP, CCSA, CCSE, CEH
