Systems Analyst, Technical Analyst, Agile, Waterfall, Systems Integration, Mobile Technology.

We are looking to recruit a Technical Systems Analyst on behalf of our client in the Norwich area.

The client has shown a particular interest in candidates with experience in webMethods, IBM Maximo and ISO 27001The successful applicant will be required to provide specialist technical and analytical skills in designing and delivering IT services, and should be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:

- taking business requirements and turning them into a functional and technical specifications for developers to work from, ideally from a developer and/or design background, good understanding of the Service Lifecycle and of development methodologies (eg waterfall, agile)

Proven ability in two or more of the following:

Work Order Management systems

ERP

Business Intelligence/Reporting

Mobile Technology

Systems Integration

SOA

- Good knowledge of relational database structures and connectivity
- Systems Analyst qualification or comparable experience.
- ITIL Foundation Certificate preferred

The role will encompass the following responsibilities:

- Provide technical specifications for IT services.
- Work with IT Business Analysis function to understand business requirements and to provide technical guidance in defining potential solutions.
- Work with IT Architecture stream to ensure that proposed solutions comply with Design Authority guidelines.
- Work with IT Assurance function to ensure compliance with defined (ITIL-compliant) processes and with security and legal requirements.
- Prepare and maintain high quality, accurate and detailed documentation in respect of System Design, Statements of Work, Technical Reports.
- Prepare Executive Summary and customer-focussed reports of complex technical subjects.
- Provide QA over documentation produced by IT Professional Services.
- Provide technical expertise to guide the development and delivery of new and modified services.
