Systems Analyst - Redhat Administrator Job

SYSTEMS ANALYST - REDHAT ADMINISTRATOR needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Louisville, Kentucky

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- At least three (3) years of experience as a Redhat Linux Administrator
- Experience with VMWare Administration

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Maintain and administer computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
- Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.
- Troubleshoot server problems as reported by users.
- Use established change management processes, requiring operational procedures be performed with minimal customer impact.
- Research, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products .
- Provide new hardware specifications to users based on application and business needs and anticipated growth, installs new Servers and maintains the server infrastructure.
- Define procedures for monitoring and evaluates, diagnoses and establishes work plan to resolve system issues.
- Perform troubleshooting for complex hardware, software and network problems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience working on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader.
- Deploy hardware and software for project and operational support.
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Redhat Linux Administrator
- Experience with VMWare Administration
- At least two (2) years of experience with Perl Scripting
