Systems Analyst/Developer

Develop, create, and modify computer applications software or specialized utility programs utilizing software packages or proprietary software languages including integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design, code, test, and debug programs of varying levels of complexity.
- Provides guidance and assistance to other team members.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design and potential impact while cognizant of time and cost constraints.
- Work with vendors on integration of purchased application solutions.
- Complex application problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.
- Assist customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts.
- Assist more experienced system development/support personnel in developing solutions to customer related requests and/or system problems.
- Respond to off-shift and weekend support calls.

SKILLS:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required. 5-6 years experience required.
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage time as well as being a collaborative team member.
- Fully knowledgeable of related infrastructure components and/or operating environment.
- Strong knowledge of the full software development life cycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. High proficiency in a computer software application or functional expertise specifically identified in the assignment requirements.
- SalesForce, DataStage, PeopleSoft, WebSphere
- Adobe CQ, SAP Business Objects, ETQ
- Laboratory Information Management (LIMS) experience
- eCommerce coding experience
- SOA experience
- Mobile application development
- 4 years intermediate Java required
- 1 year intermediate Scripting experience preferred
- 1 year intermediate XML experience preferred
- 3 years intermediate TeamCenter experience required
- 2 years intermediate C++ experience required
