Role Overview

Working with the major project stakeholders, The Systems Analyst's role is to research and author technical documentation to support the implementation of a new reservation system within TUI Marine. These documents will include: Functional Specifications, Technical Requirements and Technical Specifications. The role may involve some travel both within the UK and overseas.

What You'll Be Doing
- Meet with decision makers, systems owners, end users, and other IT staff to confirm and document requirements and systems goals.
- Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to support the required documents.
- Work with other IT resources to define and document key interfaces between the new reservation system and associated systems.

What We're Looking For

Requirements

Formal Education & Certification
- Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science or technical area and/or 8years equivalent work experience.

Knowledge & Experience
- 5years experiencewith design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Working technical knowledge with programming languages.
- Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems
- Working knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards.
- 3years experience with core software applications, including Financial Systems, CRM and ERP.
- Programming experience
- Database design experience
- Experience implementing/supporting reservation systems
- Travel industry experience.
