Systems Analyst

This is a contract opportunity for a strong Systems Analyst. Expected deliverables include but are not limited to requirement analysis, system analysis, system design, data models, test case development, testing, and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field; or, an equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the healthcare insurance industry
- Minimum 7 years' experience analysing software requirements for healthcare IT systems
- Minimum 1 year experience writing Agile story cards
- Significant experience using logical data models and writing SQL queries
- Data mapping experience required
- Data modelling experience desired
- Must be able to develop relationships and communicate clearly to clients, coworkers and management-ability to collaborate and work effectively with peers to provide results
- Experience interviewing and participating in formal sessions to gather, translate and document business and systems requirements to support transforming requirements into effective technology solutions
- Experience ensuring correct business functionality and standards are addressed within the computer applications
- Ability to understand complex test cases to execute and verify results
- Ability to develop and understand technical documentation

Highly desirable:

- Software development experience, particularly for ETL applications
- Significant experience analysing software requirements for pharmacy healthcare IT systems
