ABOUT THE ROLE

As the successful Systems Analyst you will be part of a small, innovative team who will be working closely with both Business Analysts and MS SQL Server developers to meet customer's billing requirements. Key tasks will include translating requirements into Business and Data mapping specifications across all the input and output of systems (eg. Invoices, reports, interfaces, and data feeds). Therefore you will require a good understanding of complex billing environments and a strong technical background to enable you to communicate effectively with the Development and Business teams.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years experience with MS SQL Server
- 2-3 years experience working as an Analyst Programmer or Systems Analyst
- Proven ability to conduct face to face customer/internal meetings
- Attention to detail, and the ability to identify potential threats/weaknesses and cover off before evaluation
- Analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to research and to apply problem-solving skills to complex technical problems
- Previous experience in the implementation of billing systems would be nice
- Good written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to lead, negotiate and influence
