Systems Administrator Windows/Linux wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.
YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- 2+ years of working experience with server OSs along with Windows and Linux as well as data bases such as SQL and Oracle
- Ability to continuously and proactively track and chase other departments
- Delivering in parallel mode systems and DBs under high pressure
- Good knowledge of ESX and Blade Logic/SPUDs
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken. German knowledge would be a plus
YOUR TASKS:
- Delivering the Servers and DBs to the different departments along with Provisioning Request Management workflow tool
- Avoiding postponements with daily follow-ups and escalations at internal partners
- Implementing weekly reviewals and approvals of system designs before the internal Infrastructure Review Board
- Troubleshooting in network infrastructure and improving the systems delivery in all aspects
- Working in user acceptance testings (UAT) on behalf of Provisioning and HS
- Taking part in meetings and telephone conferences in English
- Taking initiative when communicating with the operations departments
