Systems Administrator 6 Month Initial Contract CBD (Q8)

One of our major clients is a large CBD based organisation with multiple departments. At this time they are seeking the professional services of a talented and skilled Systems Administrator to join their team for an initial 6 month contract with possible extension opportunities.

PURPOSE:

The main purpose of this role is to look after the management, monitoring and reporting on a heterogeneous Windows Server, Cisco networking and Unix server environment.

THE MAIN SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES OUR CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

- Windows Server support including capacity planning, installation, configuration, backup and restore, maintenance and support
- Cisco networking gear support including specification, installation, configuration, maintenance and support
- Unix server support including capacity planning, installation, configuration, backup and restore, maintenance and support
- Strong client services focus
- Excellent communication skills; verbally & written
- Team player, personable, strong work ethic and a great attitude!

POSSESS A STRONG WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING:

- Splunk or other data aggregation systems
- System Center Configuration Manager (SCOM)
- Statseeker
- Nagios
- Solarwinds
- ITIL knowledge desirable
- VB Scripting or Powershell desirable
