System Specialists are responsible for supporting the implementation of large and complex communications radio and data systems. The group is required to travel, implement, configure, optimize, deploy and troubleshoot communications systems and subscribers. Additionally, the System Specialist Supports the telco interfaces of larger systems as well as the LAN/WAN and Microwave networking links, multi-site trunked systems, integrated network systems, and communication hubs.

SKILLS:

The individual must have the training and experience to operate specialized test equipment to optimize and troubleshoot all subsystems including conventional, Trunking, antenna, AC/DC, networks and third party systems. Must be experienced and trained on trunk systems, networks and dispatch systems.
