System Engineer/System Administrator - Windows, Vmware

System Engineer/System Administrator with Windows & VMWare skills required for an 6 month contract assignment based in Helsingborg, Sweden.

In the role of System Engineer/System Administrator your tasks will include:

-            System monitoring and analysis to ensure performance and availability within a production   environment.
-            Routine and emergency system management tasks for daily operations
-            Hardware migrations, software upgrades and new server installations.
-            Troubleshooting and analysis of incidents

The ideal candidate for the role of System Engineer/System Administrator should have:

-            Deep technical skills with Windows 2003 & Windows 2008 OS.
-            Knowledge of application clustering
-            Deep knowledge of VMWare/VSphere
-            Solid Shell Scripting skills
-            Hardware knowledge of HP and DELL Servers
-            Knowledge of HP Insight Manager, Dell Open Manage, Citrix Presentation Server and BMC Remedy (advantageous).
-            Excellent communication skills with fluency in English
