System Engineer for Brake Systems in Railmotive (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:
-System engineering related to the integration of wheel slide protection and brake of a rolling stock (locomotive, cab car and coach)
-Review of the integration of the brake system into the vehicle (electrical and pneumatic schemes)
-Review of all brake related functionalities (pneumatic, magnetic and electric brake, blending, alarm)
-Review of interface between brake and rolling stock (HW and SW interfaces)
-Analysis of norms, standards, safety regulations in Sweden/Norway/Denmark
-Support for homologation activities in Sweden/Norway/Denmark
-Support verification and validation activities (calculations, lab or vehicle tests)
-Interprets customer specifications and standards requirements to ensure that the design is compliant
-Field support (problem solving), solve technical issues coming from testing of the vehicles
-Performs technical meetings, reviews (with supplier, validator and customer)
-Interfaces with supplier, engineering, testing and manufacturing
IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:
-Graduate in Engineering, ideally in Mechatronics
-Master’s Degree is desirable
-Knowledge in system design and integration (especially electrical systems)
-Multidisciplinary know-how in Mechanics, Electronics, Software
-Working experience in brake system design and system integration is highly reliable
-Basic Knowledge in design and integration of safety systems
-Railway business knowledge
-Proficiency in English
